Experience the Nou Camp first hand! – FC Barcelona Schedule

FC Barcelona qualified for the Champions League semi-final stage last night after a convincing 4-1 victory against Arsenal (a 6-3 win on aggregate).

Although Barcelona went one goal down in minute 18, it seemed to spur them on. And while possession was high for the Catalans throughout the match, Arsenal seemed to block their preferred free flowing style.

However, Messi took the scoreline back to 1-1 just 2 minutes later. And despite some close calls from Arsenal – especially two attacks on the Barça goal in the second half – Barcelona simply outplayed The Gunners; it was Messi again, and again, and again who worked the magic, simply not stopping until the final whistle.

Barcelona will face Inter Milan in the semi-final, who they played in the group stage. The dates are 20th April (Milan) and 28th April (Barcelona) – with a result like this Barcelona are looking good to be in the Champions League final at the end of May.

0-1 Bendtner (min 18)
1-1 Messi (min 20)
2-1 Messi (min 36)
3-1 Messi (min 41)
4-1 Messi (min 86)

A view af the week ahead

It’s all go for FC Barcelona at the moment, with the Champions League quarter-finals against Arsenal and El Classico against Real Madrid next weekend. Barça’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal was hugely disappointing after dominating possession – as usual – and going 2 goals up.

However, with the deciding match being played on Tuesday night at the Nou Camp the advantage is Barça’s. And just to show that they have plenty of fight for both the domestic league, as well as the European trophy, Barcelona scored a convincing 4-1 win against Athletic de Bilbao on Saturday night with a squad full of B team players.

With some of Barcelona’s top talent being rested ahead of the Arsenal clash that is no mean feat. But by keeping their heads and focusing on the job in hand it looks like Barça has a good chance of a semi-final place.

And who knows what will have happened at the top of the Spanish League table – tune in here to find out next week.
