Rain fails to make a splash on Barça
Posted on May 5th, 2010 by adminLeo Messi added another two goals to his tally for the season in Barcelona’s rain soaked win against Tenerife last night; currently he’s on target to take the Spanish and European title of leading goal scorer.
Tenerife is struggling in the relegation zone and put up a fight in the first half, with a 38th minute equaliser to show for it. However, after the break the Catalans were able to outclass them resulting in three more goals and a step closer to the Spanish league title.
Barça are now four points ahead of Real Madrid, who face Mallorca tonight.
